As I'm sure you all know, my brother Rich was diagnosed last August with a malignant, late-stage brain tumor called glioblastoma multiforme. At the time of his diagnosis he was a healthy, active 35 year old. It has been a tough six months since then, but he is still fighting. I am so proud of him. He came to Utah, along with his amazing wife and three cute boys, to receive treatment at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. It hasn't been easy for them to leave their home in Kansas City, but we have all been impressed with the exceptional care Rich has received at Huntsman. My family has found a way to say thank you and to "give back" to this awesome institution and hospital. Members of our family have formed a LIVE RICH team and will be racing in the Salt Lake marathon, half-marathon, 5K and bike race in honor of Rich and to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. I am really excited about this. All of the money we raise will go directly to GBM research. The race is April 19th. If any of you would like to donate, go to https://www.active.com/donate/huntsman08/rlloyd
We need to find a cure for this awful disease!

Happy Birthday Blair
Yes, today is Blair's birthday. The ripe old age of 32 - wow, we are getting so old. But there is no one I would rather grow old with then Blair. He keeps my life exciting. He is the one that gets me to try new things, go new places, buy new houses, wear new clothes, etc... Where would I be without him? I am so lucky to have such an awesome husband and awesome dad for my kids. Happy Birthday Blair!

Welcome
Welcome friends and family to our blog. I guess I have officially joined the blogging world, whatever that means. Feel free to come check out our blog anytime, although I can't promise it will be very exciting. I will promise however to post lots of pics of my cute kids. Today I decided to post a few pictures to remind us all how much we love winter. The past couple of days have been so nice, I feel like I'm getting spring fever already. Am I the only one? Unfortunately, I don't think we are done with snow yet, so here are a few pics to keep us happy about the white stuff.
